Fun with Kids: Cookie Monsters!
It's almost my favorite time of year: Halloween! I absolutely love all the fun and creativity that comes with this season. Throughout the month, I'll be sharing some simple and fun kid-friendly recipes, crafts and ideas that celebrate all thing Halloween.
Let's start with this one: I loved this simple and cute Halloween idea from Mom.me so much, I wanted to share it here with all of you TINY Kitchen Kids readers. This quick no-bake project is perfect for your junior chefs to make for the family, or for classroom Halloween parties.

INGREDIENTS
1 package Double Stuffed Oreos
Stick pretzels
Large pack of M&Ms
1 tub vanilla frosting
DIRECTIONS
Set up a cookie monster craft station where your junior chefs can get to work making a delicious mess
Set out your ingredients in easy to reach plastic bowls
Create the first batch of monsters as a team, showing your littles just how easy and fun this is going to be!
Take one Oreo, and insert four pretzel sticks into the cookie frosting to make the legs
Next, dip two M&Ms in a dab of frosting and stick onto the Oreo top for the eyes
Taste test the first one, just to make sure they're right ;)
Repeat and enjoy
