Happy Birthday to ME!

Today is my birthday (!!!) and I am filled with joy as I think about everything that's possible in the new year ahead. Maybe it's having a birthday so close to New Year's, but I've always thought of my birthday as a fresh start and the chance to take inventory of what I want to keep, and what I want to let go of in the new year of life ahead.

I'm entering into 2018 - and my 38th year of life - with a year of big transition behind me. In 2017, I moved to a new town, bought a house, started a new job, made some new friends, lost some old ones, and have reinvented my daily routine. Looking back one year, I never could have imagined my life would change so much in just 12 months, but I am so thankful that it has. So, without any doubt, I welcome this new year in with a whole lot of understanding that I have absolutely ZERO idea what's in store for me but I couldn't be happier about it. If I can have even half of the positive change from 2017 fall on my plate in 2018, I am one lucky lady.
